For the start of Wilton schools next Tuesday, Sept. 4, some parents will reach for the tissues while other parents will raise a celebratory whoop of joy. No matter what the inclination, both types of parents can find common ground that morning at the annual Boo-Hoo Woo Hoo Brunch. Traditionally a members-only event hosted by the Wilton Newcomers Club at a private home, this year’s event will be held in the Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room and is open to both members and non-members, celebrating the group’s transformation to the Wilton Newcomers & Neighbors (WNN).

In addition to Wilton Library signing on as event sponsor, WNN is partnering with Realty Seven and GOOD Morning Wilton to bring the brunch to the community.

The brunch is a kickoff celebration for the Wilton Newcomers & Neighbors, as it begins its 2018-2019 year with a fresh new name, new logo, and expanded mission. WNN Board members will be in attendance to answer questions about the organization and its new direction. The Sept. 4 event starts at 10 a.m. and runs through noon. Light nibbles, coffee and mimosas will be served.

For more information or to register to attend the event, please visit the Wilton Library’s website or call 203.762.6321. To learn about upcoming Wilton Newcomers & Neighbors events or sign up for membership, visit WNN’s website.
