Wilton Historical Society is offering to help busy Wilton parents with a new “Drop, Dash and Dine” program.

Every frazzled parent’s dream, Drop, Dash and Dine is an easy way to enjoy a Saturday lunch (with a special discount!) at one of Wilton’s most popular restaurants, Bianco Rosso. All the while your child is occupied for a stimulating and educational couple of hours (lunch included) at the Wilton Historical Society.

This once-a-month program kicks off on Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.. Bianco Rosso Wine Bar will offer participants a 10-percent discount on Saturdays they participate in the Drop, Dash and Dine program.

Of course, parents can also use this block of time for anything they want—time at the gym, running errands, salon appointments, and more.

While parents are dining, children will be in the capable hands of Lola Chen, museum educator at the Wilton Historical Society. She has a full program planned, which includes story time, a workshop to learn paper quilling, followed by lunch, which the children will help prepare.

Additional restaurant options will be added in future months.

The program is suggested for ages 5 and up. Space is limited, and reservations are required. To register a child’s spot, contact Chen via email or at 203.762.7257; she will also arrange for all restaurant reservations.

For Wilton Historical Society members, the cost is $25 per child/each additional child $10/maximum $40 per family;
for non-members the cost is $35 per child/each additional child $15/maximum $60 per family.

Children may be dropped off at the Society between 11-11:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.. Restaurant reservations will be for 11:30 a.m..
