DESCRIPTION:The Miller-Driscoll School Carnival is making its return April 26-28! Save the Date and get ready for rides\, food and family fun! \nFriday\, April 26: 6 – 10 p.m.\nSaturday\, April 27: 1 – 10 p.m.\nSunday\, April 28: 1 – 5 p.m. \nIn addition to the fun and entertainment\, local food trucks will also be there\, namely 900 Degrees Pizza\, JJB\, Southern Wings and Things (SWAT)\, Cinnabomb Food Truck\, and College Creamery. Food trucks will open an hour before the carnival starts all 3 days. \nThe carnival is one of the school’s most significant fundraisers. Through ticket sales and local sponsor support\, the carnival raises funds that are used towards student enrichment programs\, educational workshops\, new materials\, and the fulfillment of grant requests. \nUnlimited ride wristbands will be available for purchase on-site for $35. Wristbands are good for one day only and cannot be reused over multiple days.

DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a winter blast of fun as Wilton Center is transformed into a wonderland of activities for the Wilton Chamber of Commerce‘s annual Winter Carnival! Proudly sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, the Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday\, Feb. 4 from 12-4 p.m. at the Town Green with other exciting festivities simultaneously taking place around Wilton Center. \nStart off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around the Town Center\, sponsored by Kimco Realty\, and watch a live ice sculpting demonstration by the Gazebo and win prizes for our scavenger hunt by finding the beautiful ice sculptures throughout town! \nAdditional festivities will include a magic show\, character meet-and-greet with your favorite “winter princess and snowman\,” and carnival performers engaging adults and young ones at the Town Green. Activities to keep the kids busy will include face painting\, sand art\, and crafts — all provided by our local organizations participating in the event. \nA selection of food and beverage options will be available from our local food trucks\, Bubble and Brew\, and Cousins Maine Lobster. \nMake sure to stop by the pocket park near the entrance to Schenck’s Island where the Rotary Club of Wilton will be providing a bonfire and s’mores for roasting that afternoon. The event will offer over a dozen different rides for all ages as well as multiple games and other activities for the whole family. Additionally\, there will be a variety of food trucks and food vendors throughout the weekend event. \nAdmission and parking is free. Wristbands for unlimited rides will be sold for $30 per wristband for each time slot. Individual ride tickets are also available. Volunteers from the Wilton Rotary Club and Knight of Columbus will oversee the ticket booth and assist with wristbands. \nAll proceeds from the carnival are invested back into the community to support projects in Wilton as well as global humanitarian programs led by Rotary International. \nRotary Club of Wilton is a service club of volunteers whose goal is to provide support and funding for local community improvement projects\, non-profit agencies\, youth leadership initiatives\, international humanitarian programs\, and polio eradication worldwide.

DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Wilton together with the Knights of Columbus Bishop Fenwick Assembly 100 will host its family carnival from Friday\, Sept. 22-Sunday\, Sept. 24! The carnival will be held at the corner of School Rd. and Danbury Rd./Rte. 7. \nCarnival hours are Friday\, Sept. 22\, 6-10 p.m.; Saturday\, Sept. 23\, 12-10 p.m.; and Sunday\, Sept. 24\, 12-5 p.m. \nThe carnival is a great family event and a wonderful Wilton tradition to kick off the autumn season and new school year for everyone. The event will offer over a dozen different rides for all ages as well as multiple games and other activities for the whole family. Additionally\, there will be a variety of food trucks and food vendors throughout the weekend event. \nAdmission and parking is free. Wristbands for unlimited rides will be sold for $30 per wristband for each time slot. Individual ride tickets are also available. Volunteers from the Wilton Rotary Club and Knight of Columbus will oversee the ticket booth and assist with wristbands. \nAll proceeds from the carnival are invested back into the community to support projects in Wilton as well as global humanitarian programs led by Rotary International. \nRotary Club of Wilton is a service club of volunteers whose goal is to provide support and funding for local community improvement projects\, non-profit agencies\, youth leadership initiatives\, international humanitarian programs\, and polio eradication worldwide.

SUMMARY:Get Moving for Mental Heath
DESCRIPTION:Join community residents\, businesses and youth groups to Get Moving! The festival was created by five Wilton students that are the currently elected Ms. President Wilton team with the idea that being more connected to the community can help kids when they feel down or isolated. \nTrackside Teen Center in Wilton will host the festival held September 9 from 10:00 a.m. to – 1:00 p.m. At the festival\, businesses will set up booths to showcase what they can offer to kids to help them feel part of the community and share how that activity can help boost confidence\, and physical ability\, create endorphins and give them a place where they feel safe. And the kids get to try it out! \nWhen kids visit ALL of the booths at the festival and get a stamp on their card\, they get free ice cream! And for each booth that is visited\, kids will gain a ticket that they can drop in jars to enter to win other raffle prizes offered by the participating businesses or donated by others in the community. \nSome of the stations will include: yoga\, dance\, karate\, art\, and music offered by businesses in Wilton and lots of nearby towns. In addition to various groups that have committed to support the event at this point\, the Girl Scouts of CT will be on site with the opportunity for every Girl Scout to earn the Wellness\, Mind\, Body and Spirit patch by completing activities offered throughout the event. Many of the activities also can help complete badge work for other Girl Scout badges depending on the age level. \nThe Ms. President Wilton Team would love to welcome kids of all ages\, families and other members of the community to come out and enjoy a morning committed to expanding community connections and finding activities to improve overall mental health!

DESCRIPTION:Wilton Center will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland for the annual Winter Carnival! Hosted by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and proudly sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, the Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday\, Feb. 5 from 12-4 p.m. at the Town Green with other exciting festivities simultaneously taking place around Wilton Center. \nStart off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around the Town Center presented by Kimco Realty\, watch a live ice sculpting demonstration by the Gazebo and win prizes for our scavenger hunt by finding the beautiful ice sculptures throughout town! \nAdditional festivities will include a magic show performance by Tony the Jester\, a character meet-and-greet with your favorite “winter princess and snowman\,” and carnival performers engaging adults and young ones at the Town Green. A selection of food and beverage options will be available from local food trucks such as Bubble & Brew and Cousins Maine Lobster\, and activities to keep the kids busy will include face painting\, sand art\, crafts\, meeting mini ponies from Rising Starr Horse Rescue\, and so many more fun activities provided by our local organizations participating in the event. \nThere’s more! The Wilton Library will open its doors one hour early\, at noon. Visitors of all ages are invited to warm up inside where tweens and teens in grades 6-12 can stop by the Teen Department to learn how to make fun and easy decorative paper snowflakes\, while supplies last. Children in grades K-5 can visit the Children’s Library to create a wintery craft project and pick up a winter bookmark. Then make sure to head over to Schenck’s Island for some marshmallow roasting sponsored by the Wilton Rotary Club (children must be accompanied by an adult). \nNumerous festivities will be held throughout the Center and guests are highly encouraged to visit and shop at Wilton’s local retail stores during the afternoon and enjoy a bite or beverage at one of our fantastic restaurants as they stroll to each activity. This event\, sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, will be held on Sunday\, Jan. 26\, from 12-4 p.m.\, and is designed to be fun for all ages! \nVisitors are invited to enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides; a live\, ice-sculpting demonstration at the Town Green Gazebo plus pre-carved sculptures at Fairfield County Bank\, Gregory and Adams\, P.C.\, Village Market\, and Wilton Library; live music from WEBE 108; a campfire for roasting marshmallows (children must be accompanied by an adult) hosted by the Wilton Rotary Club; a life-sized Olaf character from Frozen for photo ops; kids activities and crafts provided by Little Green Frog and others; and kids games and treats. GOOD Morning Wilton is the media sponsor of the event. \nCarnival hours are:  Friday\, Sept. 13\, 6-10 p.m.; Saturday\, Sept. 14\, noon-10 p.m.; and Sunday\, Sept. 15\, noon-5 p.m.. Staged by Tufano Amusements\, the carnival will offer over 11 different rides for a variety of ages as well as multiple games of chance. Food options include Bubble and Brew serving specialty teas\, bubble teas\, espresso drinks and fresh baked goods; and  Planet Pizza serving scrumptious pizzas. \nAdmission and parking is free. Wristbands for unlimited rides will be sold for $25 each for the following time slots:  Friday:  6-10 p.m.; Saturday:  12-5 p.m. and 5-10 p.m.; and Sunday 12-5 p.m.. Individual ride tickets are also available. Members of the Rotary Club will be manning the ticket booth and assisting with wristbands. \n“This is a wonderful family-friendly event that’s fun for all ages.
