SUMMARY:Adult Chocolate Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Grab your friends and celebrate Galentine’s Day or enjoy an evening out with your partner at the Wilton Historical Society! On Thursday\, Feb. 13 from 6-8 p.m.\, make your own chocolate candies while enjoying complimentary wine and light bites. Attendees can fill unique candy molds with chocolate and a variety of toppings and fillings to create delicious treats — perfect to enjoy yourself or share with others. Guests can also design their very own chocolate box to bring their creations home with them\, with historical Valentine cards from the museum’s collection on display for inspiration. This is a 21-and-over event. Tickets are $25 per person for WHS members and $35 per person for non-members. \nTo register\, complete the online registration form.

DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual Great Wilton Pumpkin Fest will return to the Wilton Historical Society on Saturday\, Oct. 18 from 1-3 p.m. It’s fun for all ages with all things pumpkin! Join knowledgeable docents in cooking pumpkin pancakes over an open hearth and blacksmithing in the forge\, try out a handful of fall-themed lawn games\, or explore the museum campus to complete the pumpkin scavenger hunt\, all with complimentary cider and donuts! \nBe sure to pick up your very own pumpkin to bring home! Browse the Wilton Kiwanis Pumpkin Patch on the Society’s front lawn and purchase the perfect one. Then head over to the pumpkin decorating station and put your creativity on display. Kiwanis will also have small gourds and mums on sale to help fill out your personal harvest display. \nPumpkin Fest is generously supported by Wilton Kiwanis\, Greg Rodiger and The Connecticut Group. \nAdmission is $5 per person\, free for Wilton Historical Society members.\nPurchase tickets ahead of time online for quicker check-in! Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event.

SUMMARY:Make Your Own Valentine’s Day Chocolates!
DESCRIPTION:Just in time for Valentine’s Day\, kids can make their very own custom chocolates! On Saturday\, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m.-noon\, program participants will make something extra nice for their Valentine – delicious\, professional-looking chocolates and a decorated box to put them in! The fun and easy one hour session will make use of an extensive collection of small\, charming chocolate molds. Hearts\, flowers\, a multitude of animals\, stars and even tools are just some of the shapes that will be on hand. \nThis event is suggested for children aged 6-12. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay. \nRegistration is required and space is limited. The cost to attend is $10 per child for Wilton Historical members\, $15 per child for non-members.
