SUMMARY:Learn to Knit Class
DESCRIPTION:Join Wilton Historical Society program facilitator Moira Craw as she provides five in-person sessions to help participants learn basic knitting skills and techniques\, from casting stitches onto the needle to a variety of basic stitches — knitting and purling — and casting off the stitches. Participants will create four practice squares to enable them to move on to an intermediate class creating hats and scarves. \nThis five part series will take place on consecutive Wednesdays: Jun. 17 and 24\, Jul. 1\, 8 and 15 from 7-9 p.m. at the Wilton Historical Society. The cost for the five-week series is $60 for Historical Society members and $75 for non-members.
