SUMMARY:Stamp Out Hunger with Person-to-Person!
DESCRIPTION:Stamp Out Hunger is a one-day\, nationwide food drive conducted by the National Association of Letter Carriers with all donated food being delivered to local pantries. This is the largest food drive of the year for Person-to-Person and helps keep its pantries stocked during the summer months when the need is great. \nStamp Out Hunger is a great opportunity for area families to help our neighbors who are struggling with hunger and food insecurity. All food donated by residents in the town of Wilton will be delivered to the P2P food pantry in Norwalk. \nPlease leave a reusable bag of non-perishables by your mailbox on the morning of Saturday\, May 11.

DESCRIPTION:‘Tis the season for giving\, so help us lend a paw during our Holiday Pet Food and Supply Drive to benefit PAWS (Pet Animal Welfare Society) of Norwalk! \nPAWS is a no-kill shelter that has been in operation since 1962–last year\, they found homes for over 600 dogs and cats. \nHere are a few things the folks at PAWS can always use: \n\nCanned dog food (Pedigree if possible)\nDry dog food (Prescription Science Diet if possible to maintain consistent feeding\, but other brands are welcome!)\nFriskees and Fancy Feast canned cat food\nDry and canned kitten food\nClay (non-clumping) kitty litter\nPaper towels\, small paper plates & bowls\nBleach\, laundry detergent\, dryer sheets\nGarbage bags (13 & 60 gallon)\nDishwasher detergent & liquid hand soap\n\nIf you want to play Santa Paws this year\, we encourage you to stop by our kennel at 499 Danbury Rd. during our open hours with anything you can spare! \nEverything you donate feeds a local dog or cat in need and helps offset shelter operating costs. Tickets are $13.50 online and $14 at the door. \nThe show runs Friday\, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.; Saturday\, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m.; and Sunday\, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m.. \nWith equal measures of pluck and positivity\, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage that is run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage\, Annie escapes to the\nwondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure\, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations… and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire\, Oliver Warbucks\, his personal secretary\, Grace Farrell\, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. \nWe will also be collecting canned/non-perishable food items to support the Wilton Food Pantry.  Please consider bringing an item to donate and look for the collection bins in the lobby.
