This performance\, which was recently streamed live on the Powerhouse Theater stage in New Canaan\, can be streamed into your living room on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. Directed and produced by Deborah Burke\, this event is presented in collaboration with The Town Players of New Canaan. \nStarring Ted Yudain\, Gail Yudain\, and David Jackins\, The Outgoing Tide is a drama that hums with dark humor and powerful emotion. In a summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay\, Gunner has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future but meets with resistance from his wife and son who have plans of their own. As winter approaches\, the three must quickly find common ground and come to an understanding—before the tide goes out. Wilton Youth Football Cheer (WYFC) offers flag football for grades Pre-K-12 with both boys’ and girls’ options. The programs are coordinated by WYFC’s annually elected volunteer board of directors. \n“We’re so excited for the summer and fall seasons\,” said Tony Palumbo\, volunteer vice president and flag football commissioner for WYFC. “When you hear from parents there is nothing their kids love more than flag football\, you know it’s time to get more youth involved. With our new girls’ league\, we will continue our tradition of providing a flexible and supportive atmosphere for the parents and kids. Our flexible scheduling philosophy supports kids playing multiple sports and volunteer coaches’ schedules. We are a family program run by a great group of volunteer parents\, that make sure the kids come first in Flag Football.” \nThe flag summer programs are jointly run by WYFC volunteers and the Wilton High School football team.
