DESCRIPTION:The Wilton League of Women Voters\, the Wilton Library\, and GOOD Morning Wilton will be jointly sponsoring two evening events to provide voters the opportunity to meet the candidates for this year’s municipal elections and to pose questions that will highlight candidate goals and priorities to make critical town decisions. \nThe first forum on Tuesday\, Oct. 22 will present candidates running for Board of Selectmen and the Board of Finance. The second forum on Tuesday\, Oct. 29 will present the candidates running for the Board of Education and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Each event will follow a modified town hall format and be moderated by certified\, out of town League of Women Voters moderators\, who will present questions submitted by the public to all candidates. Questions for the candidates may be emailed in advance through the Wilton League of Women Voters. The candidate forums will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run back to back with a brief break between the panels for that evening. \nBoth events will be streamed live and recorded by GOOD Morning Wilton\, and will be made available to community members on the GOOD Morning Wilton and Wilton League of Women Voters websites.
