SUMMARY:Wilton's Winter Carnival
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a winter blast of fun as Wilton Center is transformed into a wonderland of activities for the Wilton Chamber of Commerce‘s annual Winter Carnival! Proudly sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, the Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday\, Feb. 4 from 12-4 p.m. at the Town Green with other exciting festivities simultaneously taking place around Wilton Center. \nStart off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around the Town Center\, sponsored by Kimco Realty\, and watch a live ice sculpting demonstration by the Gazebo and win prizes for our scavenger hunt by finding the beautiful ice sculptures throughout town! \nAdditional festivities will include a magic show\, character meet-and-greet with your favorite “winter princess and snowman\,” and carnival performers engaging adults and young ones at the Town Green. Activities to keep the kids busy will include face painting\, sand art\, and crafts — all provided by our local organizations participating in the event. \nA selection of food and beverage options will be available from our local food trucks\, Bubble and Brew\, and Cousins Maine Lobster. \nMake sure to stop by the pocket park near the entrance to Schenck’s Island where the Rotary Club of Wilton will be providing a bonfire and s’mores for roasting that afternoon. Guests are also highly encouraged to visit and shop at Wilton’s local retail stores during the afternoon and enjoy a bite or beverage at one of Wilton’s fantastic restaurants while strolling to each activity. \nThis event is presented by event sponsor Fairfield County Bank\, and supporting sponsors Kimco Realty\, Riverbrook Regional YMCA\, The Village Market\, Wilton Library Association\, and Gregory and Adams\, and special participation by the Rotary Club of Wilton. \nThe Chamber of Commerce presents events such as the Winter Carnival to highlight the Wilton community and the businesses and organizations that make Wilton such a special place! DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 20\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th annual Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wilton Center will be transformed into an exciting\, action packed\, bargain filled\, entertaining and delicious destination for residents and regional visitors. \nThe summer festival is proudly presented by ASML\, LaurelRock\, Fairfield County Bank\, Stamford Health\, and Caraluzzi’s Georgetown Market\, and with special participation from the Wilton Rotary Club to support  the numerous retailers\, restaurants\, businesses\, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase our community as a vibrant retail\, service and dining destination. \nIn addition to the shopping and dining opportunities featured during the day\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce has lined up entertainment with music\, live performances\, and many new activities for the whole family and for our furry friends too! Attractions and activities will be centered around the gazebo highlighted by the “Touch-a-Truck” center sponsored by our community partner\, ASML and featuring vehicles including the Wilton Fire Department’s Engine 5 Ladder Truck\, a patrol car from the Wilton Police Department and a service vehicle from the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. \n \nThe Wilton Library will also be hosting its summer book sale in the heart of the fair\, and make sure to check out the various interactive activities throughout Old Ridgefield Rd. that will include face-painting\, inflatable games\,  magician\, balloon characters\, family friendly activities\, street performers\, kid’s crafts\, live animal encounters and exhibits\, sand art\, plus treats galore and much\, much more! This event will surely delight and surprise our shoppers and attendees! \nThe Street Fair vendors and entertainment are all located along Old Ridgefield Rd. from the Village Market to the intersection of Godfrey Rd. including the Gazebo at the Town Green. SUMMARY:Wilton Historical Society Food Truck Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy great food\, immersive experiences and community unity\, all while supporting Wilton’s museum at the Wilton Historical Society’s Food Truck Festival. \nOn Sunday\, May 31\, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. come to Schenck’s Island and Chess Park to feast from a collection of the area’s finest food trucks\, with all proceeds to benefit the Historical Society. \nAttendees can explore Wilton’s culinary and food-producing history\, with re-enactments from knowledgeable colonial educators. The festival will also include live music\, historically inspired games and crafts\, face painting\, and more! Live music provided by The Mojo Rhythm Kings and Rubberband. \nThe food trucks that will be at the festival are: Cousins Maine Lobster\, Greek Style Grill\, The Chamo\, Layla’s Falafel\, Los Poblanos\, Chef Jeffs BBQ\, Silver Sands Pizza\, Retreat Sweets\, Foolproof Brewery\, Barrelsmith Cocktails\, Italian Ices of CT\, Lucky Dog\, Simply Smashed and Wilton Outback Steakhouse. \nAll proceeds from admissions go directly to the Wilton Historical Society’s mission to preserve Wilton’s history\, and connect\, engage and educate all who would look to the past to shape the future. \nTickets are available to purchase ahead of time and at the event day-of! Wilton Historical Society members receive a discount on early ticket purchases. \nAdmission is $5 per child (under 18)\, $10 per adult.
