DESCRIPTION:Temple B’nai Chaim is holding a community-wide Blessing of the Pets. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! \nAs we gather in the courtyard\, Rabbi Bearman and Student Cantor Hamstra will lead a brief ceremony where we celebrate the love\, laughter\, and companionship that our pets bring to our lives. We will also offer a prayer of mourning for anyone who is remembering a beloved pet. \nAll animals are welcome but should be either leashed or secured in travel cages. \nLocal photographers Bruce Miller and Jon Gordon will be on hand to take photos–including pet portraits–for participants to purchase. Responses are requested by June 19 for analysis at the next public workshop\, but the survey will be kept open.
