DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 8 – 12 are invited to join this crafting class hosted by Fiona Conway. Fiona is an upcoming 11th grade Girl Scout completing her Gold Award. Kids will make crafts out of recycled materials that they find around the house that would otherwise be thrown away and contribute to pollution. Online registration is required for each individual class. Start gathering and saving materials for the next couple of weeks including egg cartons\, cardboard\, scrap paper\, popsicle sticks\, used straws\, and anything else you think could be used in a craft. Fiona will email parents before classes each week to update them on the materials needed for that week. Any other materials may include pipe cleaners\, glue\, markers\, or paint\, but each craft can be personalized so no specific thing is required. Registration required. SUMMARY:Recycled Crafts for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 8 – 12 are invited to join this crafting class hosted by Fiona Conway. Fiona is an upcoming 11th grade Girl Scout completing her Gold Award. Kids will make crafts out of recycled materials that they find around the house that would otherwise be thrown away and contribute to pollution. Online registration is required for each individual class. Start gathering and saving materials for the next couple of weeks including egg cartons\, cardboard\, scrap paper\, popsicle sticks\, used straws\, and anything else you think could be used in a craft. Fiona will email parents before classes each week to update them on the materials needed for that week. Any other materials may include pipe cleaners\, glue\, markers\, or paint\, but each craft can be personalized so no specific thing is required. Registration required. The sale moves inside to the Gallery\, Monday\, July 26 through Thursday\, July 29\, during regular library hours\, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
