SUMMARY:Recycled Crafts for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 8 – 12 are invited to join this crafting class hosted by Fiona Conway. Fiona is an upcoming 11th grade Girl Scout completing her Gold Award. Kids will make crafts out of recycled materials that they find around the house that would otherwise be thrown away and contribute to pollution. Online registration is required for each individual class. Start gathering and saving materials for the next couple of weeks including egg cartons\, cardboard\, scrap paper\, popsicle sticks\, used straws\, and anything else you think could be used in a craft. Fiona will email parents before classes each week to update them on the materials needed for that week. Any other materials may include pipe cleaners\, glue\, markers\, or paint\, but each craft can be personalized so no specific thing is required. Registration required. DESCRIPTION:The Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) is a nine-member elected body responsible for overseeing land use and development activity within Wilton. This involves performing a detailed review and analysis of certain development proposals and making decisions based on established regulatory criteria. Other responsibilities include the review of zoning regulation amendment applications\, changes to the Town’s zoning map\, applications involving the subdivision of land\, and the evaluation of mandatory referrals from the Board of Selectmen. \nThe PZC oversees long-range planning initiatives\, including the preparation of the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development. DESCRIPTION:The Inland Wetlands Commission was established to conserve\, protect\, supervise\, and regulate the wetlands and watercourses within the Town of Wilton.  The Commission is comprised of seven members who serve in three-year terms. \nThe Commission is responsible for administering the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations for the Town. DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 8 – 12 are invited to join this crafting class hosted by Fiona Conway. Fiona is an upcoming 11th grade Girl Scout completing her Gold Award. Kids will make crafts out of recycled materials that they find around the house that would otherwise be thrown away and contribute to pollution. Online registration is required for each individual class. Start gathering and saving materials for the next couple of weeks including egg cartons\, cardboard\, scrap paper\, popsicle sticks\, used straws\, and anything else you think could be used in a craft. Fiona will email parents before classes each week to update them on the materials needed for that week. Any other materials may include pipe cleaners\, glue\, markers\, or paint\, but each craft can be personalized so no specific thing is required. Registration required.
