DESCRIPTION:The Planning and Zoning Commission is a nine-member elected body responsible for overseeing land use and development activity within Wilton. Key responsibilities of the commission are reviewing zoning regulation amendment applications\, changes to the Town’s zoning map\, and applications involving the subdivision of land\, and evaluating mandatory referrals from the Board of Selectmen. Additionally\, the commission oversees long-range planning initiatives\, including the preparation of the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development. \nPlanning and Zoning Commission Regular Meetings typically occur on the second and fourth Mondays of the month\, from 7-9 p.m. \nMeetings can be attended by the public via the Zoom link. \nMembers of the public can submit written comments and questions via email to Land Use Director/Town Planner Michael Wrinn by 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting\, or members of the public can comment on Zoom at the appropriate time by raising a hand to notify the host of the intent to provide comments. Public participants will be promoted one at a time to provide comments live on Zoom.

DESCRIPTION:Wilton Pride\, in collaboration with Lighthouse and Middlebrook PTA presents a peer-to-peer social support group for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. \nMeetings are relaxed and social in nature. No bullying is ever allowed\, and everyone is given a chance to be heard in a safe and casual setting. Teens can drop in to share life experiences and feelings as well as to socialize\, enjoy snacks\, and share common bonds in Lighthouse’s confidential\, non-threatening environment. \nThis group is brought to Wilton by Lighthouse\, a program of Kids in Crisis that serves lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer+ (LGBTQ+) teens and their allies with a welcoming and safe weekly meeting. Lighthouse encourages LGBTQ+ youth to live their best\, healthiest\, and most authentic lives.  Lighthouse empowers LGBTQ+ youth to clarify issues\, gain skills and resiliency\, and envision and seek healthy\, productive\, and fulfilling adult lives. \nMeetings are held every Thursday at Comstock Community Center from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Inland Wetlands Commission Regular Meeting is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. \nThe Inland Wetlands Commission was established to conserve\, protect\, supervise\, and regulate the wetlands and watercourses within the Town of Wilton.  The Commission is comprised of seven members who serve in three year terms. \nThe Commission is responsible for administering the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations for the Town. DESCRIPTION:Join Amy\, Wilton Library‘s certified Zentangle teacher (CZT)\, as she guides everyone through a fun and relaxing Zentangle session on Zoom. This meditative art form uses simple steps to teach practitioners how to create beautiful patterns. It’s suitable for anyone who doesn’t believe they can draw\, as well as experienced artists. \nThe program is for adults and teens\, ages 13 and up. \nRegistration is required and space is limited. SUMMARY:Music on the Hill's Community Messiah Sing
DESCRIPTION:Music on the Hill invites all to a Community Messiah Sing. The audience is the chorus! Featuring several guest conductors\, soloists\, and string quartet\, this Messiah sing will include Part I of Handel’s oratorio\, as well as the famous “Hallelujah” and “Worthy is the Lamb” choruses\, the final movements of Parts II and III. All singers are welcome. Music-lovers are welcome to come and listen\, as well. The suggested donation is $15\, and a portion of the donations collected will be donated to Wilton Social Services.

DESCRIPTION:Wilton Pride\, in collaboration with Lighthouse and Middlebrook PTA presents a peer-to-peer social support group for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. \nMeetings are relaxed and social in nature. No bullying is ever allowed\, and everyone is given a chance to be heard in a safe and casual setting. Teens can drop in to share life experiences and feelings as well as to socialize\, enjoy snacks\, and share common bonds in Lighthouse’s confidential\, non-threatening environment. \nThis group is brought to Wilton by Lighthouse\, a program of Kids in Crisis that serves lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer+ (LGBTQ+) teens and their allies with a welcoming and safe weekly meeting. Lighthouse encourages LGBTQ+ youth to live their best\, healthiest\, and most authentic lives.  Lighthouse empowers LGBTQ+ youth to clarify issues\, gain skills and resiliency\, and envision and seek healthy\, productive\, and fulfilling adult lives. \nMeetings are held every Thursday at Comstock Community Center from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Inland Wetlands Commission Regular Meeting is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. \nThe Inland Wetlands Commission was established to conserve\, protect\, supervise\, and regulate the wetlands and watercourses within the Town of Wilton.  The Commission is comprised of seven members who serve in three year terms. \nThe Commission is responsible for administering the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations for the Town.
