SUMMARY:“Last Meeting in Millbrook” – An Immersive Historical Vampire Tale
DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Historical Society is thrilled to be partnering with\nEscapism Productions for an upcoming immersive historical theatre experience! \nConnecticut\, 1793: A wasting sickness has descended upon the parish of Millbrook\, carrying off entire households and leaving several of the community’s governing offices vacant. With several civic leaders among the dead\, the remaining inhabitants have been summoned to the meetinghouse to account for the spread of the illness\, and determine who can be trusted to restore order. \nFear has already taken root. Neighbors whisper that the deaths are no ordinary work of consumption. Strange marks have been discovered upon the bodies. The newly buried do not seem to rest easily. Some claim that something moves between the sickrooms after nightfall\, feeding upon the living while hiding behind a familiar face. \nAs more evidence is gathered and old suspicions rise to the surface\, another death strikes before the assembled parish. Someone in Millbrook knows more than they confess. \nBefore the meeting can end\, the inhabitants must uncover what is consuming their community and determine whether the evil they seek lies beneath the earth or stands among them. \nThis immersive production is performed at the Wilton Historical Society. This experience allows guests to explore the Society’s historic Sloan-Raymond-Fitch House\, interacting directly with the characters to uncover secrets\, expose evidence\, and influence the ending. \nPerformance Dates and Times \n\nFriday\, Oct. 2\, 7-8:30 p.m.\nSaturday\, Oct. 3\, 8-9:30 p.m.\nSunday\, Oct. 4\, 4-5:30 p.m.\nSunday\, Oct. 4\, 7-8:30 p.m.\n\nBe sure to bundle your tickets with the Society’s popular Colonial Tavern Night on Oct. 4. \nTickets are $50 for Wilton Historical Society members\, and $60 for non-members.
