DESCRIPTION:The Drum Hill Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) invites the community to a lovely brunch and lively presentation\, “Benedict Arnold ~ American Hero and Traitor\, ” by Col. Dr. Larry A. Maxwell. The event takes place on Saturday\, March 16\, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.\, at the Redding Country Club\, 109 Lonetown Road\, Redding\, CT. \nMost people know Benedict Arnold was an infamous traitor but do they know he was also a great American hero? Come learn more about the complex life and other side of Arnold. Col. Maxwell is a renowned author\, reenactor\, historian\, former Chairman of the Company of Military Historians\, West Point; and Director of the Living History Guild. \nThe Program and Brunch is $50 per person and the proceeds benefit the DAR Drum Hill Chapter’s children’s programs\, scholarships and more. \nPurchase tickets online.
