Harvey replicated university student trained fence companies to do this. In his forties and fifties\, Harvey dominated the internet for healthcare products in the senior home accessibility field. The utilization of over 100 keywords in Google for more than a decade developed into a lead generation business. This resulted in excess of 200\,000 leads that covered 85% of North America with 200 affiliates. In addition\, Harvey was able to develop over 22 Silver Cross locations. His company was purchased by a publicly traded company on the TSX (SIS). Specialties: Franchise development\, market share penetration\, website SEO\, salesforce customization and business model replication. \nSee event listing online for registration link.

SUMMARY:Author Talk with Wilton First Selectman Toni Boucher: The Husky Effect
DESCRIPTION:Join Wilton Library on Friday evening\, Apr. 25\, for a special author talk program with Wilton’s First Selectman Toni Boucher as we celebrate the publication of her first book\, The Husky Effect: How UConn is Creating the Entrepreneurs of the Future\, a deeply personal story of entrepreneurship and ingenuity as well as a thoughtful exploration of the spirit of innovation that’s flourishing in the University of Connecticut School of Business\, inspired by the national champion UConn Huskies men’s and women’s basketball teams. \nIn The Husky Effect\, Boucher — a selectman\, former Connecticut state legislator\, executive\, and UConn School of Business alum — lays out a recipe for entrepreneurs of any age to reach for their dreams. Boucher explores the stories of her father\, who brought her family to the United States when she was a little girl\, and her late husband\, Bud\, both of whom\, despite risks and failures\, never gave up until they found success. That dogged determination and the incredible success of Bud’s businesses allowed Toni to name the Boucher Management and Entrepreneurship Department at the UConn School of Business in his honor. The Husky Effect is a deep dive into UConn’s innovative approaches to teaching entrepreneurship and the key figures who are reshaping the curriculum to emphasize hands-on experience\, emotional intelligence and a multidisciplinary approach. \nPraise for The Husky Effect \n“The Husky Effect takes readers inside the bold initiatives — cutting-edge\, hands-on learning in venture investing and groundbreaking research in entrepreneurship — that are equipping the next generation of trailblazers.”  — Greg Reilly\, Interim Dean\, UConn School of Business \nBoucher is serving her first four-year term as the first selectman of Wilton after a lengthy career in public service for the state of Connecticut\, including in the CT State Senate and CT House of Representatives. Boucher recently retired from her career in the private sector as director of a leading $30 billion asset management company. She has an MBA from UConn\, has founded several startups\, and is now helping the UConn School of Business grow its entrepreneurship and student-run investment programs. Toni is a 40-year resident of Wilton and has three children and six grandchildren. \nCopies of The Husky Effect will be available for purchase and signing after the program. \nRegistration for this program is requested. Register online or call 203.762.6334.
