DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Chamber of Commerce presents again its “Eggs & the Economy” Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday\, Feb. 6 at 8 a.m. at Marly’s Bar and Bistro (101 Old Ridgefield Rd.). \nThe Chamber’s Economic Forecast Breakfast is an annual look at how the business and financial landscape is shaping up for the coming year\, globally\, nationally and locally. The chamber welcomes Peter Denious\, Wilton resident and new president and C.E.O of the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC)\, as our guest speaker for the event. CERC is a nonprofit corporation focused on economic development in Connecticut and provides research-based data\, planning and implementation strategies to foster business formation\, recruitment and growth. \nThe cost for the Chamber’s Economic Forecast Breakfast is $40 per Chamber member\, $45 per future member and reservations are requested. DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Chamber of Commerce\, in collaboration with the Wilton Library Association\, proudly presents our “2022 Economic Forecast Meeting.” This year’s meeting will be held in person at the Brubeck Room in the Wilton Library on Tuesday\, April 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and led by Peter Denious\, President and C.E.O. of AdvanceCT\, a private nonprofit economic development corporation\, driving job creation and new capital investment in Connecticut through business attraction\, retention\, and expansion efforts\, in close cooperation with state\, regional and local partners. \nDenious\, also a Wilton resident\, came to AdvanceCT in August 2019 as an accomplished private equity and venture capital professional who helped realize commercial and economic opportunities by connecting ideas\, people\, and capital. \nFor further information\, please visit the Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s event page.
