DESCRIPTION:Want an easy way to complete a marathon? Sign up for the First Candle Run/Walk Challenge happening over the six weeks between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Sign up at any time during the six weeks but if you complete the entire challenge you will have done a marathon. \nAll proceeds go to support the non-profit organization First Candle and its bereavement programs for families who have lost a baby to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Stillbirth.

SUMMARY:Virtual Wine Tasting to Benefit First Candle
DESCRIPTION:Who couldn’t use an escape to Italy right about now? While we can’t be there in person\, come join First Candle and Tyler Colman (Dr. Vino)\, the wine director at Parlor\, for a virtual wine tasting. We’ll be tasting two different wines from the leading Barolo producer\, Vietti\, from the spectacular Piedmont region of Italy\, known for Barolo wines\, truffles\, and risotto. \nLuca Currado Vietti will join via prerecorded video to comment on the wines. The white is the Roero Arneis\, an heirloom white grape variety that Luca’s father brought back from the brink of extinction\, and the red “Perbacco\,” which means “wow” in the local dialect. \nThe wines are available for pre-purchase at Parlor. All proceeds will benefit First Candle’s bereavement support for SIDS and stillbirth and education programs on safe sleep.
