DESCRIPTION:  \nAs part of the Town of Wilton’s annual 4th of July celebration\, the Wilton Parks and Recreation Department is planning a fun filled day of events. First up is the Freedom Run 5K Road Race\, at the Wilton High School (WHS) Track. \n\n\n\nRace Fees:  $10.00 each for children ages 14 and younger; $20.00 each for individuals ages 15 and up. To enter\, fill out the form in the Parks and Recreation Spring/Summer Brochure and return it to the Parks and Rec office at Comstock Community Center.  For more information visit the Parks and Recreation page on the town website.

DESCRIPTION:Join the annual Wilton community celebration and tradition that is July 4th in Wilton. The Parks and Recreation produces a fun evening with a music\, food and fun capped off by an amazing fireworks show. All the action is on the sports fields at the Wilton High School complex along Kristine Lilly Way. \nThe evening begins at 5 p.m. with a live DJ and food trucks\, and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m..  \nThe Parks and Recreation Department will be selling 4th of July Patron Parking Passes through July 3. Parking passes may be obtained by visiting the Parks and Recreation Office (180 School Rd.). Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.. Passes may also be obtained by completing and returning a form (available in the Parks and Recreation Spring/Summer Brochure\, which can be found on Parks and Recreation Department page of the Town website) to the Parks and Recreation Department office. \nReaders can also click here for the form: 2019 July 4th Parking Pass Form \nPasses will be mailed. Parking passes for remote parking locations will also be available the evening of the event at $20.00 per vehicle. All proceeds offset cost of the evening’s events. \nIn the event of rain\, residents are asked to call the Parks and Recreation hotline at 203.454.5188 for event status.
