DESCRIPTION:The Kiwanis Club of Wilton will have its third annual Oktoberfest at the Wilton YMCA. This is a fun-filled family event with German bier and wine\, bratwurst or chicken\, sauerkraut\, German potato salad\, hot dogs\, french fries and cold soda for the kids. \nMusic will be provided by the Alpine Squeeze who will play all types of music throughout the evening\, with Hans filling in with his accordion during breaks to keep people up and dancing. The event goes on rain or shine\, but seating will be in the pavilion or under tents\, so weather is not an issue. \nEntrance fee will be $35 for adults and will include a Bratwurst or Chicken platter with Bier or wine. Children under 21 will be $6\, and will have a hot dog\, French fries\, soda or water. Advance adult tickets can be purchased for $26 by going to www.WiltonOktoberfest.org.

All adults are FREE. \n\n\n\n\nSusan Granger is a product of Hollywood. Her biological father\, S. Sylvan Simon\, was a director and producer at M.G.M. and Columbia Pictures; her adoptive father\, Armand Deutsch\, produced movies at M.G.M. \nAs a child\, Susan appeared in movies with Abbott & Costello\, Red Skelton\, Lucille Ball\, Margaret O’Brien and Lassie. She attended Mills College in California\, studying journalism with Pierre Salinger\, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with highest honors in journalism. \nDuring her adult life\, Susan has been on radio and television as an anchorwoman and movie/drama critic\, syndicating her reviews/articles around the world and publishing a website. She has appeared on American Movie Classics and Turner Classic Movies. Susan is also the feature film critic for Video Librarian magazine\, distributed to libraries nationwide.
