SUMMARY:Trekking Together: Peepers and Cheepers
DESCRIPTION:Join staff naturalists from the Wilton Land Trust and Woodcock Nature Center for Peepers and Cheepers\, a spring guided hike at the Land Trust’s Marble Van Haelewyn Preserve! Listen for and identify bird songs and frog calls\, pass by vernal pools where frogs and salamanders have laid their eggs\, and explore around the preserve’s gorgeous freshwater stream in search of spring ephemerals – the earliest flowers to bloom after the season changes! This walk is a fantastic opportunity to explore gorgeous natural surroundings and learn all about the waking world of spring! \nThis program is run in partnership with the Wilton Land Trust and Woodcock Nature Center. \nThis event is free. Registration is required online.
