DESCRIPTION:Across the country\, youth are facing mental health challenges of unprecedented proportions. Wilton community members are invited to Let’s Talk Mental Health: Community Conversation on Friday\, March 3\, at 9:15 a.m. To join the discussion register online. \nThis event is intended to bring the dialogue on mental health challenges within Wilton to the forefront and help find solutions and support. Join the Wilton community for a presentation and discussion on the current mental health landscape\, what “mental health” includes\, signs of concern in youth and adults\, when to reach out for help and who to contact. \nDr. Andrew Gerber\, President and Medical Director at Silver Hill Hospital\, will open with a presentation and keynote address on these topics. He’ll be joined by a panel of local mental health professionals and providers\, and then the floor will be open for questions. DESCRIPTION:This series has been canceled.\nPlease join Marie Demasi\, a grief educator and survivor of suicide loss\, Lori Fields\, a licensed clinical social worker and the director of Tackside Teen Center\, and Victoria O’Neill from The Hub CT for an open and supportive conversation. \nAfter being presented with the heavy topic of suicide and loss presented during Kevin’s Afterglow\, we are often left to process emotions alone. On Thursday\, March 9 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. you will have the opportunity to talk openly about your reaction to the event\, get answers to any lingering questions you may have\, and receive support for anything specific you might be wrestling with. The evening is for you to use as you like. You’re welcome to share or simply sit\, listen\, and enjoy a safe space to process thoughts and feelings.  \nReservations are available online.
