The 9-in. fruit pies are frozen\, ready for you to bake for a special occasion; 8-in. cream pies and 10-in. pumpkin pies are thaw-and-serve. \nPies must be ordered by Friday\, Oct. 18 with pick-up at the Academy on Monday\, Nov. 25. \nAvailable Flavors:  Apple Caramel Walnut\, Hi-Top Apple\, Apple Crumb\, Bumbleberry (apples\, cherries\, raspberries\, blueberries and blackberries)\, Chocolate Cream\, Banana Cream\, Chocolate Peanut Butter with Brownie Bottom all at $17; Pumpkin\, Orchard Blueberry and Peach Crumb all at $18. SUMMARY:1st Annual Wilton Monster Mash
DESCRIPTION:The 1st Annual Wilton Monster Mash will take place on Saturday\, Oct. 26\, from 7-11 p.m. at Trackside Teen Center. This is a 21-and-over event\, open to the public\, featuring food\, open beer and wine bar\, and the live music of Wilton’s premiere surf and ska band\, One Bad Oyster! A costume contest with exciting prizes will add to the festivities. \nThe event is co-hosted by Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy and Trackside Teen Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit both organizations. \nSponsorships are still available at a variety of levels. Donations such as merchandise and gift certificates from local businesses or individuals are also being sought for prizes. All sponsors will receive recognition in signage and event materials\, including those distributed to the entire school community. Sponsors should contact Cindy Moser. \nTickets are $65 (which includes admission\, food\, open beer/wine bar\, and entry to the costume contest) and can be purchased online. SUMMARY:Fall Walk-A-Thon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, Nov. 8\, at 12:45 p.m.\, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy will hold its Fall Walk-A-Thon. This is one of the school’s major fundraising events of the year\, but it will also benefit the community–10% of all funds raised in the walk-a-thon will be donated to local area food banks (Norwalk and Wilton). \nStudents and faculty will walk a designated route on the school and adjacent church property. Each grade will choose a canonized saint to remember and honor in their walk. “The saints will be our inspiration for the walk\,” said school principal Stanley Steele. “The walk-a-thon is a perfect opportunity for our students to see what ‘service above self’ really means. We work hard to instill the notion of giving back to the community and helping those in need\, as the saints did. And we’ll have a little fun in the process\, too.” \nIn addition to working on class projects to showcase their spirit and support for the event\, students have garnered pledges of support from family\, friends and neighbors. Businesses and individuals interested in supporting walk-a-thon participants are also welcome to make donations and may contact the school. The deadline for walk-a-thon donations is Nov. 8\, 2019. \nThe Fall Walk-A-Thon will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy\, 225 Danbury Rd.\, Wilton.

SUMMARY:Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy Virtual Fundraising Auction
DESCRIPTION:Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic\, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy‘s (OLFCA) Annual Fundraising Gala and Live Auction has moved online. The Wilton Catholic school will host an online fundraising auction from Dec. 11-18 (ending at midnight) featuring gifts to celebrate the winter season. \n“The Annual Gala and Live Auction represents our largest fundraising effort of the year. We are embracing the ‘new normal’ by bringing this event online\,” noted fundraising chair Clara Taveras. “All the items have been donated by parents\, alumni\, and members of our larger community. The Online Auction will provide a safe\, socially-distanced experience for people to shop or donate to support OLFCA.” \nOrganizers say that this year’s Auction features gifts to celebrate any winter holiday\, as well as selections specific to Christmas. The selections include such items as a Solo Stove kit\, sporting gear\, COVID-19 survival baskets\, and gift baskets featuring items from local merchants. The auction also provides options to support OLFCA or provide a special “thank you” to the OLFCA teachers. \nA preview of the items is available now online\, with bidding starting on Friday\, Dec. 11\, and running through midnight on Friday\, Dec. 18. \n“In these extraordinary times\, our teachers and staff have been exceptional. They have worked tirelessly to maintain a safe school environment in accordance with all applicable regulations and safety protocols to provide 5 day a week in-person education\,” Principal Stanley Steele said. “I receive calls daily seeking information on enrollment\, which just opened for the 2021-2022 school year. As a private school\, fundraisers such as this one are a key part of our budgeting process.”
