DESCRIPTION:Join in officially welcoming Cheyenne the Red-Tailed Hawk to Woodcock Nature Center! Cheyenne will be joined by fellow teaching animals who also recently came to call Woodcock home\, such as Rosa the Redknee Tarantula and Uno the Wood Turtle. Enjoy bird-themed nature activities\, animal meet-and-greets\, and a special introduction to Cheyenne at 3 p.m. The nature center building will also be open for visitation along with the pavilion\, natural playground and trails. Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be onsite for beverages during the event. \n$15 per person (ages 3+). Registration is required here. All ages welcome. No dogs please. Space is limited. Rain or shine.

Held in and around Woodcock’s picturesque candlelit pavilion and pond\, a highlight of the evening is carefully prepared fare by local chefs Sarah and Bernard Bouïssou of À Table in Ridgefield. \nA unique silent auction from September 6-16 includes items not available anywhere else such as tickets to a private meet and greet package with Cheyanne the Red Tailed Hawk… you can even bid on a spot at summer camp! Live auction items include a Wreath Festival experience for 15 guests\, private pavilion events and more. \nPlus\, guests will enjoy wine from Cellar XV Wine Market\, brews and spirits from Nod Hill Brewery and Litchfield Distillery\, delightful desserts and coffee from Queen B Coffee Company\, and live music by Fairfield County’s own Present Company. \nSingle Tickets: $175 \nVIP ticket opportunities also available. \nProceeds benefit Woodcock’s outreach and education programs. \n21+ only.
