DESCRIPTION:Please join Wilton Library via Zoom for an interesting feline behavior webinar that explains cat behavior from the perspective of the evolutionary and adaptive forces that shape their lives. \nThis informative discussion by Stephen Quandt\, Feline Behaviorist\, will cover: cats’ relationship to hunting and resting through the Cycle of Predation that can lead to “drive-by” behaviors; their sense of identity in being a predator or being prey that can result in fearful cats or fear aggression; their relationship with us as influenced by the mother/kitten relationship; and finally the relationship between hunger\, appetite\, metabolism and exercise. \nThis 60-minute session will include Q&A from patrons who would like cat behavior advice. Quandt is a shelter-trained and Fear Free Certified feline behaviorist with the Animal Care Centers of New York City.
