DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 20\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th annual Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wilton Center will be transformed into an exciting\, action packed\, bargain filled\, entertaining and delicious destination for residents and regional visitors. \nThe summer festival is proudly presented by ASML\, LaurelRock\, Fairfield County Bank\, Stamford Health\, and Caraluzzi’s Georgetown Market\, and with special participation from the Wilton Rotary Club to support  the numerous retailers\, restaurants\, businesses\, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase our community as a vibrant retail\, service and dining destination. \nIn addition to the shopping and dining opportunities featured during the day\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce has lined up entertainment with music\, live performances\, and many new activities for the whole family and for our furry friends too! Attractions and activities will be centered around the gazebo highlighted by the “Touch-a-Truck” center sponsored by our community partner\, ASML and featuring vehicles including the Wilton Fire Department’s Engine 5 Ladder Truck\, a patrol car from the Wilton Police Department and a service vehicle from the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. \n \nThe Wilton Library will also be hosting its summer book sale in the heart of the fair\, and make sure to check out the various interactive activities throughout Old Ridgefield Rd. that will include face-painting\, inflatable games\,  magician\, balloon characters\, family friendly activities\, street performers\, kid’s crafts\, live animal encounters and exhibits\, sand art\, plus treats galore and much\, much more! This event will surely delight and surprise our shoppers and attendees! \nThe Street Fair vendors and entertainment are all located along Old Ridgefield Rd. from the Village Market to the intersection of Godfrey Rd. including the Gazebo at the Town Green. SUMMARY:Get Festive and Celebrate at Wilton's 2024 Holiday Stroll
DESCRIPTION:Wilton will enjoy the annual Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll on Friday\, Dec. 6. Together with event sponsor Kimco Realty and in partnership with the Town of Wilton\, Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps\, and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center\, the whole community is invited to join the festivities beginning at 5 p.m.\n\n \n\n5-8 p.m. — Carolers\, crafts and toy drive: Participants can get in the holiday spirit and make their way to the Town Green to be enchanted by the strolling carolers from the Voice Studio singing holiday classics. Families can enjoy crafts and treats provided by Wilton non-profit organizations\, and meet a special “ELF” strolling through the Town Green. In addition\, the Wilton Police Department will be collecting toys for children in need.\n\n \n\n5:30-7 p.m. — Wilton Library welcomes visitors: Wilton Library staff will welcome visitors outside the library’s front entrance\, handing out special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. Children can stop by the Children’s Library to make a special bookmark to take home with their books\, and teens are welcome to visit the Teen Room to make pompom bookmarks. Library officials invite all visitors to shop for gifts and stocking stuffers at the Holiday Book Sale in the gallery.\n\n \n\n5:45 p.m. — Tree lighting and Santa: Wilton will officially kick off the Christmas season with a tree lighting ceremony followed by the much-anticipated arrival of Santa ushered in by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa at the gazebo where they can share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat starting at 6 p.m.\n\n \n\n5-8 p.m. — Stroll\, shop and support Wilton’s local businesses: Celebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities with Wilton retailers\, restaurants and local businesses. The Chamber encourages the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop and enjoy the generous hospitality of participating local businesses that evening!\n\n5-8 p.m. — Marshmallow Roast: The Kiwanis Club of Wilton will once again host the marshmallow roast for the Holiday Stroll! With the fire ban lifted in the State\, this family activity returns to keep guests warm and cozy. Visit the Kiwanians at the corner of River Rd. and the entrance to Schenck’s Island.

Gather at the Town Green Gazebo (101 Old Ridgefield Rd.) for some frightful fun\, as we present spooktacular interactive games and activities designed for the whole family! \nPrepare for a day filled with howling good music and abundant entertainment as the Town Green and Wilton Center become a (not-so) scary party. Local businesses and non-profit organizations will be out in full force\, distributing sweet treats to all the ghouls\, goblins\, princes and princesses joining in the fun! \nTo ensure the safety of all trick-or-treaters\, a section of Old Ridgefield Rd.\, from the Town Green to Godfrey Rd.\, will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event. \nWe extend our heartfelt thanks to the generous local businesses\, retailers and organizations whose support makes these fall festivities possible\, showcasing Wilton as a wonderful destination to shop\, dine and enjoy community life.
