Urban\, an international award-winning scientist\, the Arden chair and professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at UCONN\, a global expert on climate change impacts on nature\, and an author of over 70 scientific articles. \nThe WLCT welcomes all to attend\, please RSVP. DESCRIPTION:Moth Madness Drop-Off Program at Woodcock Nature Center \nSaturday\, May 22\, from 8 – 10 p.m.​​​ \nUncover the wonderful world of moths!  While these primarily nocturnal insects are seldom seen\, kids will embark on a night hike to visit light traps and baited trees to see what they can find.  This should attract different moth species\, so kids can learn and identify together what they see.  With over 1\,000 species of moths that live in New England\, it is always exciting to discover more of them!  This program is for children in grades 3-6.​​ \n​​Registration is required.  $45 per child
