DESCRIPTION:Elizabeth Jorgensen\, CADC\, will discuss the short-term and long-term effects of vaping\, nicotine\, and marijuana use. \nIn this workshop\, participants will learn: \n\nVital information about vaping/JUULing\, including what the most popular devices look like and how they are used\nThe connection between addiction and underlying mental health issues such as anxiety\nCurrent research on the risks of vaping\, including its potential to serve as a gateway to alcohol\, opioid or THC abuse\nHow to talk with your teens and intervene\, if necessary\n\nPresented by Youth to Youth\, Wilton Youth Council’s student leadership and substance use prevention club at Wilton High School (formerly Warrior Council).
