It’s that time of year …today we launch the first installment of this year’s GOOD Morning Wilton Holiday Gift Guide! We’ve pulled together a collection of really GOOD items from our fabulous, local brick-and-mortar retailers, restaurateurs, and merchants, plus a great collection of independent entrepreneurs, and our amazing Wilton non-profit organizations. There is something for everyone on your list and best of all, this is your ultimate guide to shopping local.

Wilton Library
Wilton Library’s Giving Tree is an annual tradition that stands bright in the gallery each year at this time. Essentially the tree is a Wish List of items/materials/programs that the library would like to bring into the collection or provide to the community. Patrons simply pick the item on the special “ornament,” bring it to the circulation desk and pay for it. The item can be purchased in honor or in memory of someone, or to commemorate a special occasion. A lovely gift card is given to the purchaser, who in turn can give it to the person or family being honored. Where possible, a bookplate will be placed on the selected item to highlight the honoree. The item chosen for each category is a representation of what is currently on the tree. Items may go quickly but there are many choices in each category if the first request is not available.
Items under $20 are represented by a $15 DVD, James Beard—America’s First Foodie, that will be purchased for the library’s DVD collection.
Shoppers also are reminded of Wilton Library’s Holiday Book Sale at which bargains in all price ranges can be found on a daily basis. Both the Giving Tree and Holiday Book Sale run through Jan. 3, 2018.
