In the past year, attention has focused on abuse and harassment as women around the country have stepped forward with their own #MeToo stories. On March 8, International Women’s Day, the Wilton Library is hosting “#MeToo:  Abuse of Power in Relationships,” a discussion on how to promote and maintain healthy boundaries in relationships:  in the home, in the work place and in the community.

This presentation and panel discussion will discuss the social and legal issues at the heart of the important topic of the abuse of power in relationships. The panel will include representatives from the Wilton Police Department, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, and the Center for Sexual Assault, Crisis Counseling & Education.

The program is sponsored by Wilton Library, the Wilton Domestic Violence Task Force, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, and the Center for Sexual Assault, Crisis Counseling & Education. There is no charge to attend, but registration is recommended. To register, visit the Wilton Library website or call 203.762.6334.
