The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in effect from 8 p.m. Thursday evening (Oct. 31) to 6 a.m. Friday morning. In addition, there is a freeze watch from late Friday night through Saturday morning. Temperatures as low as the upper 20s are predicted.
The wind advisory notes that the strongest wind gusts are expected late this evening and overnight. Winds will blow 20-30 mph south-to-southwest, with gusts up to 50 mph.

Thursday, Oct. 31: Showers, patchy fog. High near 70. South wind 5-14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Tonight: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after midnight. Patchy fog before 9 p.m., with a low around 51. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday, Nov. 1: A 20% chance of showers before 9 a.m.. Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 57. West wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 32. West wind 5-9 mph.
