DESCRIPTION:Wilton Congregational Church and Person-to-Person are joining forces to help families struggling with hunger and food insecurity.\n\n\nBring your food donations to WCC on Sunday\, April 25\, 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. \n\n\nItems needed:\noatmeal\, cereal\, hearty soups\, canned fruits & veggies\, peanut butter & jelly\, pasta & sauce\, protein/granola bars\ngift certificates are welcomed.\nThere are two ways to donate food items to the mobile food pantry:\n\n\nPark & Walk: Bring your donations to the pantry truck in the upper church parking lot.  Grab a coffee or snack from Bubble & Brew and stick around for a few minutes to catch up with a new or old friend.  Please park in the Old Town Hall or Wilton Playshop.\n\n\nDrive-thru:  Volunteers will be stationed in the lower church lot to collect food from your car.  Please have your food items in a reusable shopping bag (if possible) as this is what the families will use at the pantry.\n\n \n\n\nBubble & Brew will be on-premises selling coffee and treats.\n\n\n\n\n	See more related GMW stories...

DESCRIPTION:Letter carriers in Wilton are delivering grocery bags and shopping lists to all postal customers in advance of the annual Wilton Postal Food Drive on Saturday\, Nov. 2.\n\n\nWith 11% of people living in Fairfield County struggling with food insecurity–including more than 14% of children who don’t know where their next meal is coming from–the Person-to-Person Food Pantry is a critical resource for our neighbors in Wilton\, Westport\, Weston and Norwalk.\n\n\nWilton residents are encouraged to leave a bag of non-perishable groceries at their mailbox this Saturday morning or drop it off at the Wilton Post Office on Hubbard Rd.. The Person-to-Person pantry is currently in need of items such as hearty soups\, pasta and sauce\, canned beans and tuna\, jelly and peanut butter.
