SUMMARY:2nd Annual Community Trick or Treat Event with Wilton Commons Seniors
DESCRIPTION:Wilton Commons is hosting its 2nd Annual Community Trick or Treat event on Friday\, Oct. 25\, at 5 p.m.. Both Wilton Commons and Wilton Commons Congregate communities will have a fun role in the festivities. We’re welcoming all children to attend this bootiful event!\n\n\nAnyone that is interested in sponsoring candy or participating in this event can email Melody Gonzalez.\n\n\nWilton Commons has a total of 70 units that will be potentially participating in the candy giveaway. Kids\, accompanied by an adult\, will walk by the units to enjoy their trick or treating. There are three floors\, and each will be judged collectively on creativity.\n\n\nFollowing the trick or treating\, Wilton Commons Main Community room will be set up as a haunted area where our kids will end their night enjoying activities\, taking pictures with our seniors\, and having fresh popcorn from our popcorn machine. During this time\, kids will also be placing their votes on their favorite floor. The floor with the most votes will win a spooktacular surprise!\n\n\nVisitor parking is available at Trackside Teen Center; if that lot is full\, additional parking is available at Commonfund (the building and lot across from Trackside.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	See more related GMW stories...

SUMMARY:A Taste of History–Black History Month Event
DESCRIPTION:Wilton Commons will be celebrating Black History Month with an event called “A Taste of History” this Thursday\, Feb. 28. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample Southern-inspired cuisine and dishes that were significant during those times and take home recipes to try on their own. In addition to this\, the event will consist of keynote speakers engaging our audience in interactive conversations pertaining to black history\, current events\, and ways to impact change; attendees are encouraged to share their personal viewpoints on all subject matters.\n\n\nWilton Commons is a diverse community\, and we are striving to embrace diversity by implementing programming that promotes diversity and inclusion.
