DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, Jan. 14\, the Wilton Democratic Town Committee will sponsor a Caucus to vote for candidates for membership on the DTC. If you would like to be considered for membership\, please contact Tom Dubin via email.\n\n\nWhat’s a Caucus?\n\n\nThe purpose of a Caucus is for the DTC to endorse candidates for positions on the DTC and to conduct other business properly brought before the meeting. People who do not receive an endorsement at the Caucus may decide to challenge those endorsed candidates through a primary (the process for this is available at the Town Clerk’s office).\n\n\nThe Caucus is open to all Democrats who are registered in Wilton.\n\n\nWe advertise the time and place of the Caucus in one or more local newspapers\, as well as through our website and social media. If nobody files for a primary challenge\, the people who are endorsed at the Caucus will be deemed lawfully elected. Elected DTC members will be seated in March 2020.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	See more related GMW stories...
