SUMMARY:Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Hillside Cemetary
DESCRIPTION:As they graciously do each year\, the Wilton Memorial Day Parade Committee invites all Wilton families and guests to the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on Monday\, May 27\, following the parade.\n\n\nThe Memorial Service will begin with opening remarks from Parade Committee Chairman Jim Newton\, followed by the National Anthem played by the WHS Band.\n\n\nIf inclement weather forces cancellation of the parade\, the remembrance ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Wilton Congregational Church (70 Ridgefield Rd.). DESCRIPTION:Marching in this year’s parade — with the theme “Honor Their Sacrifice” — will be veterans\, bagpipers\, military vehicles\, antique cars\, emergency vehicles\, dignitaries\, Scout troops\, the Wilton High School band\, and local organizations and sports teams.\n\n\nThe parade starts at 21 River Rd. at 10 a.m. and proceeds through Wilton Center.
