Woodcock Nature Center educator Tommy McCarthy will lead the group on a short guided hike along the Woodcock trails and then through a relaxing tasting session of three or more different types of loose leaf tea including Japanese green tea\, Taiwanese oolong tea\, and Chinese black tea\, brewed in traditional tea ceremony style in our pavilion. ​\n\n\nRegistration is required\, at $55 per person. At secret locations along the Woodcock trails we’ll delight your senses with all new craft brews and sweet sips for all ages plus animal encounters\, treats and treasure hunts. Also\, live music with Lazer Goose and guitarist/singer Matt Greene\, plus food for purchase from Dough Girls pizza. Even furry family members will enjoy some goodies along the trek.\n\n\nTrek\, taste and discover with Woodcock!\n\n\n​\nTickets are available for specific start times (attendees must arrive at the start of the session; walk-up tickets will be available only if space allows): 12- 2 p.m.; 12:15-2:15 p.m.; 3-5 p.m.; 3:15-5:15 p.m.; 5:45-7:45 p.m.; and 6-8 p.m. Pre-purchase ticket sales ends at midnight Friday\, Apr. 24 (check the Woodcock website for updates on availability).\n\n \n\n\n\nTickets are $57 for adult (21+) tickets\, and $27 for kids (3 and up) and spectators. Admission for 21+ includes: one souvenir tasting glass per 21+ ticket purchased; a one-of-a-kind trek through the woods and wetlands of Woodcock with beer and soda sampling at five stations along the way; complimentary soda tasting\, music\, snacks and water. DESCRIPTION:Woodcock Nature Center welcomes all ages to five opportunities to enjoy a winter nature walk with an educator on our trails\, followed by a storytime fireside with your little one in this free one-hour program! Spend some time outside exploring with us during this winter season then warm up by the fire with a story. \n\n\nDates are Mondays\, Jan. 27; February 3\, 10 and 24; and March 10.\n\n\n​​​​Registration is free but required. Held in and around Woodcock’s picturesque candlelit pavilion and pond\, a highlight of the evening is carefully prepared fare by local chefs Sarah and Bernard Bouïssou of À Table in Ridgefield.\n\n\nA unique silent auction from September 6-16 includes items not available anywhere else such as tickets to a private meet and greet package with Cheyanne the Red Tailed Hawk… you can even bid on a spot at summer camp! Live auction items include a Wreath Festival experience for 15 guests\, private pavilion events and more.\n\n\nPlus\, guests will enjoy wine from Cellar XV Wine Market\, brews and spirits from Nod Hill Brewery and Litchfield Distillery\, delightful desserts and coffee from Queen B Coffee Company\, and live music by Fairfield County’s own Present Company.\n\n\nSingle Tickets: $175\n\n\nVIP ticket opportunities also available.\n\n \n\n\nProceeds benefit Woodcock’s outreach and education programs.\n\n\n21+ only.
