Last Thursday, March 15, the Wilton High School recreational league season came to a close, and the final team playoff game determined the season’s champion. Team Darkwah–undefeated all season–won the championship for a second consecutive season.

The high school basketball rec league is administered by the town’s Parks and Recreation Department. Teams are formed by students in grades 9-12 and play an eight-game regular season schedule.

Team Darkwah is comprised entirely of seniors, with the exception of Josh Darkwah, who is a sophomore. Team members, pictured above are:  (back row, L-R) Josh Darkwah, Liam Gany, Tommy Garvey and Joel Darkwah; (front row, L-R) Chris Sweeney, Andrew Beecher, Peter Delfeus, and Alec Ziluca.
