DESCRIPTION:Now that summer is coming to an end it is not too early to start thinking about cleaning out your garage or shed in preparation for fall. This September\, New Canaan and Westport will be hosting Household HazWaste Collections that are open to Wilton residents. The dates and locations are as follows:\n\n\n\nSaturday\, Sept. 14\, 2019\, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.:  Wastewater Treatment Plant\, (394 Main St.\, New Canaan)\nSaturday\, Sept. 21\, 2019\, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.:  Yard Waste Site (180 Bayberry Ln.\, Westport)\n\nProof of Wilton residency (a driver’s license) is required to dispose of waste. These events are for the collection of household hazardous waste only. Paint and electronics will not be accepted.\n\n\nWilton’s Household HazWaste Collection day will be held on October 12\, 2019\, and will be the last opportunity of 2019 for Wilton residents to get rid of unwanted household hazardous waste.
