DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 20\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th annual Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wilton Center will be transformed into an exciting\, action packed\, bargain filled\, entertaining and delicious destination for residents and regional visitors.\n\n\nThe summer festival is proudly presented by ASML\, LaurelRock\, Fairfield County Bank\, Stamford Health\, and Caraluzzi’s Georgetown Market\, and with special participation from the Wilton Rotary Club to support  the numerous retailers\, restaurants\, businesses\, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase our community as a vibrant retail\, service and dining destination.\n\n\nIn addition to the shopping and dining opportunities featured during the day\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce has lined up entertainment with music\, live performances\, and many new activities for the whole family and for our furry friends too! Attractions and activities will be centered around the gazebo highlighted by the “Touch-a-Truck” center sponsored by our community partner\, ASML and featuring vehicles including the Wilton Fire Department’s Engine 5 Ladder Truck\, a patrol car from the Wilton Police Department and a service vehicle from the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Wilton Library will also be hosting its summer book sale in the heart of the fair\, and make sure to check out the various interactive activities throughout Old Ridgefield Rd. that will include face-painting\, inflatable games\,  magician\, balloon characters\, family friendly activities\, street performers\, kid’s crafts\, live animal encounters and exhibits\, sand art\, plus treats galore and much\, much more! Proudly sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, the Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday\, Feb. 4 from 12-4 p.m. at the Town Green with other exciting festivities simultaneously taking place around Wilton Center.\n\n\nStart off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around the Town Center\, sponsored by Kimco Realty\, and watch a live ice sculpting demonstration by the Gazebo and win prizes for our scavenger hunt by finding the beautiful ice sculptures throughout town!\n\n\nAdditional festivities will include a magic show\, character meet-and-greet with your favorite “winter princess and snowman\,” and carnival performers engaging adults and young ones at the Town Green. Activities to keep the kids busy will include face painting\, sand art\, and crafts — all provided by our local organizations participating in the event.\n\n\nA selection of food and beverage options will be available from our local food trucks\, Bubble and Brew\, and Cousins Maine Lobster.\n\n\nMake sure to stop by the pocket park near the entrance to Schenck’s Island where the Rotary Club of Wilton will be providing a bonfire and s’mores for roasting that afternoon. DESCRIPTION:The annual Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll is this Friday Dec. 1. All residents are invited to join the festivities beginning at 5 p.m.\, hosted by the chamber together with event sponsors Fairfield County Bank and Meadow Ridge and in partnership with the Town of Wilton\, Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps\, Wilton Kiwanis Club and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center\,\n\n\nGet in the holiday spirit as by warming up by a roaring bonfire and partake in the marshmallow roast and hot cocoa provided by the Wilton Kiwanis Club at Schenck’s Island. Head to the Town Green to be enchanted by the strolling carolers and dance performance from Wilton’s Conservatory of Dance. Families can enjoy crafts and treats provided by local non-profit organizations\, and new this year\, Justin Baiad Photography will be creating a magical winter experience with digital photo packages at the Holiday Stroll. Get a portrait with Buddy the Elf as he joins in the fun. In the tradition of giving back for the holiday season\, all proceeds from the photo session will benefit Trackside Teen Center.\n\n\nIn addition to the festivities at the Town Green and Schenck’s Island\, from 5:30-7 p.m.\, Wilton Library staff will welcome visitors outside their front entrance handing out special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. Children can stop by the Children’s Library to make a special bookmark to take home with their books. Visitors are invited to shop for gifts and stocking stuffers at the Holiday Book Sale in the gallery.\n\n\nAt 5:45 p.m. the community will officially kick off the Christmas season with a tree lighting ceremony followed by the much-anticipated arrival of Santa at the Town Green\, ushered in by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa at the gazebo where they can share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat starting at 6 p.m.\n\n\nCelebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities with Wilton retailers\, restaurants\, and local businesses. Chamber officials encourage the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop and enjoy the generous hospitality of participating local businesses that evening. A special rickshaw ride through Wilton Center will be provided by College Bound Rickshaw for the enjoyment of attendees.\n\n \n\n\nChamber Executive Director Camille Carriero encouraged residents to enjoy the tradition at the stroll\, for their fun as well as to support local businesses.\n\n\n“The Chamber would like to give special thanks to our event sponsors\, Fairfield County Bank and Meadow Ridge\, along with the merchants and businesses who host such festive and welcoming receptions at their stores. Hosted by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and proudly sponsored by Fairfield County Bank\, the Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday\, Feb. 5 from 12-4 p.m. at the Town Green with other exciting festivities simultaneously taking place around Wilton Center.\n\n\nStart off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around the Town Center presented by Kimco Realty\, watch a live ice sculpting demonstration by the Gazebo and win prizes for our scavenger hunt by finding the beautiful ice sculptures throughout town!\n\n\nAdditional festivities will include a magic show performance by Tony the Jester\, a character meet-and-greet with your favorite “winter princess and snowman\,” and carnival performers engaging adults and young ones at the Town Green. A selection of food and beverage options will be available from local food trucks such as Bubble & Brew and Cousins Maine Lobster\, and activities to keep the kids busy will include face painting\, sand art\, crafts\, meeting mini ponies from Rising Starr Horse Rescue\, and so many more fun activities provided by our local organizations participating in the event.\n\n\nThere’s more! The Wilton Library will open its doors one hour early\, at noon. Visitors of all ages are invited to warm up inside where tweens and teens in grades 6-12 can stop by the Teen Department to learn how to make fun and easy decorative paper snowflakes\, while supplies last. Children in grades K-5 can visit the Children’s Library to create a wintery craft project and pick up a winter bookmark. Then make sure to head over to Schenck’s Island for some marshmallow roasting sponsored by the Wilton Rotary Club (children must be accompanied by an adult).\n\n\nNumerous festivities will be held throughout the Center and guests are highly encouraged to visit and shop at Wilton’s local retail stores during the afternoon and enjoy a bite or beverage at one of our fantastic restaurants as they stroll to each activity. DESCRIPTION:The annual Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll will be on Friday Dec. 2nd! Together with the Town of Wilton\, Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps.\, Wilton Kiwanis Club and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center\, all are invited to join the festivities beginning at 5:00 pm.\n\n\nGet in the holiday spirit as you warm up by a roaring bonfire and partake in the marshmallow roast and hot cocoa provided by the Wilton Kiwanis Club at Schenck’s Island. Make your way to the Town Green to be enchanted by the strolling carolers and dance performance from Wilton’s Conservatory of Dance. Families can enjoy crafts and treats provided by our local non-profit organizations and at 5:30 pm we will officially kick off the Christmas season with our tree lighting ceremony.\n\n\nIn addition to the festivities at the Town Green and Schenck’s Island\, the Wilton Library staff will welcome visitors from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. outside their front entrance. They will be handing out special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. They invite all visitors to shop for gifts and stocking stuffers at their wonderful Holiday Book Sale in the gallery. All proceeds benefit the library.\n\n\nFor the highlight of the evening\, gather all the young ones as we keep the tradition going with Santa Claus arriving at the Town Green ushered by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa at the gazebo where they can share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat from Santa starting at 5:45 pm.\n\n\nFinally\, before you head home\, make your way to the Wilton Congregational Church (70 Ridgefield Road Wilton\, CT) as Music on the Hill presents its annual holiday concert\, “Sounds of the Season\,” at 7:30 p.m. The concert features the Jubilate Ringers\, an 18-member handbell ensemble\, and the 30-voice Festival Chorus\, made up of singers from throughout the region. The concert will include selections for Christmas and Hanukkah\, as well as lullabies and winter songs.\n\n \n\n\nCelebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities with our retailers\, restaurants\, and local businesses. We encourage the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop and enjoy the generous hospitality of these local businesses that evening!\n\n\nThe Chamber would like to give special thanks to the merchants and businesses who host such festive and welcoming receptions at their stores. SUMMARY:Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 23\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th annual Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Wilton Center will be transformed into an exciting\, action-packed\, bargain-filled\, entertaining and delicious destination for residents and regional visitors.\n\n\nThe summer festival is proudly presented by Kimco Realty\, Fairfield County Bank\, Gregory and Adams\, P.C.\, The Greens at Cannondale and Wilton Meadows\, and Caraluzzi’s Georgetown Market to support the numerous retailers\, restaurants\, businesses\, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase our community as a vibrant retail\, service and dining destination.\n\n\nIn addition to the shopping and dining opportunities featured during the day\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce has lined up entertainment with music\, live performances\, and many new activities for the whole family and for our furry friends too! Attractions and activities will be centered around the Town Green Gazebo\, Wilton Library\, and Kimco’s River Road Shopping center that will include face-painting\, bouncy-house\, magician\, balloon characters and bubbles from Mr. Bungles\, kid’s crafts\, Sand Art Party plus treats galore and much\, much more. This event will surely delight and surprise our shoppers and attendees!\n\n\nThe Street Fair vendors and entertainment are all located along Old Ridgefield Rd. from the Village Market to Stop and Shop including the gazebo at the Town Green. DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the return of the Wilton Winter Carnival on Sunday\, Feb. 6\, from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.!\n\n\nBring the whole family down and join us as we transform the Town Green into a fun and activity-packed winter wonderland! Start off the event with a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride around Wilton Center\, watch a live ice sculpting demonstration\, and join in the scavenger hunt of beautiful ice sculptures and a chance to win a gift basket filled with local Wilton merchandise valued at $200!\n\n\nMake your way down Old Ridgefield Road for a campfire with marshmallows by the Wilton Rotary Club\, join in the character meet and greet for photo ops\, enjoy the kids’ activities\, crafts\, sand art\, face painting\, a professional magic show at the Gazebo\, plus food trucks and Wilton’s very own Bubble and Brew.\n\n\nStroll through town and enjoy a variety of dining options from our award-winning restaurants\, shop at the great local stores in town\, and make sure to visit the Wilton Library that afternoon! SUMMARY:Wilton Chamber of Commerce: Holiday Stroll
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, Dec. 3 marks the return of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Stroll! Together with the Town of Wilton\, Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps. (WVAC)\, Wilton Kiwanis Club and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center\, all are invited to join the holiday festivities beginning at 4:30 pm.\n\n\nGet in the holiday spirit as you warm up by a roaring bonfire and partake in the marshmallow roast and hot cocoa provided by the Wilton Kiwanis Club at Schenck’s Island. Make your way to the Town Green for the menorah lighting ceremony and latkes provided by GOOD Morning Wilton. Then be enchanted by the strolling carolers and dance performance from Wilton’s Conservatory of Dance. Families can enjoy crafts and treats provided by our local non-profit organizations that evening at the Town Green and at 5:30 pm we will officially kick off the Christmas season with our tree lighting ceremony.\n\n\nIn addition to the festivities at the Town Green\, the Wilton Library will welcome visitors by their front entrance and provide special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. We invite you to purchase an “ornament” from their Giving Tree\, buy Hanukkah Gelt for the Children’s Library\, and shop for gifts at the Library’s Holiday Book Sale. Also\, don’t forget to admire the Bakers & Builders Gingerbread – Police Edition entries and cast your vote for the “Community Favorite” prize.\n\n\nFinally\, gather all the young ones as we keep the tradition going with Santa Claus arriving into town ushered by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa at the gazebo where they can share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat from Santa starting at 5:45 pm.\n\n\nCelebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities with our retailers\, restaurants\, and local businesses. We encourage the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop\, and enjoy the generous hospitality of these local businesses.\n\n \n\n\nThe Chamber would like to give special thanks to the merchants and businesses who host such festive and welcoming receptions at their stores.\n\n\nPlease note that the Holiday Stroll is a rain or shine event. SUMMARY:Chamber of Commerce Pumpkin Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of the Pumpkin Parade on Saturday\, Oct. 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. \n\n\nAll are invited to dress up and don their Halloween best as they gather treats from our generous participating retailers\, businesses\, and vendors. For the safety of our trick-or-treaters\, a portion of Old Ridgefield Road from the Town Green to Godfrey Road will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the event.\n\n\nGather at the gazebo and capture a spooky or silly family portrait courtesy of Justin Baiad Photography. All proceeds will be donated to Wilton Social Services. In years past\, this portion of the event has raised thousands of dollars to help local families in need during the holiday season. The Chamber of Commerce thanks their very generous local businesses\, retailers\, and organizations for supporting these fall festivities to showcase Wilton as a destination to shop\, dine and enjoy the community.
