DESCRIPTION:Ji Su Jung will join the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra as guest soloist for their concert\, RHAPSODY.\n\n\nJung will perform Kevin Put’s Marimba Concerto with the orchestra at the Clune Auditorium on Saturday\, February 7\, at 7:30 p.m.\n\n\nAlthough Jung did not commission or premiere the Puts concerto\, which was written in 1997\, she has championed the piece in recent years and recorded it with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. “It wasn’t written for me\,” Jung says\, “but it feels like my own piece\, my own baby. This piece fulfills my romantic side.
