DESCRIPTION:Join A Better Chance of Wilton on Friday\, June 6\, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for “Opening Our Hearts and Homes for ABC\,” a special Wilton house tour featuring five distinctive and stunning properties. This unique event offers a glimpse into some of Wilton’s most beautiful homes while supporting A Better Chance of Wilton and its mission.\n\n\nFor over 25 years\, A Better Chance of Wilton has provided educational opportunities to highly motivated high school students of color from across the United States. With 55 past scholars and five current students\, the program creates a supportive environment that fosters academic excellence and prepares students for college and beyond. Fully funded by private donations\, ABC Wilton continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of its Scholars.\n\n\nThis year’s event is held in loving memory of George Andrew Davala III\, a former board member and dedicated supporter of A Better Chance of Wilton. DESCRIPTION:The Wilton Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday\, May 29 at 10:00 a.m.\n\n\nMemorial Day activities start with the Pancake Breakfast\, sponsored by the Wilton Kiwanis Club\, and held at the Wilton Congregational Church. The events end with the Memorial Service at Hillside Cemetery.\n\n\nThis year’s keynote speaker will be Vietnam Veteran Jim Kohler\, and the parade Grand Marshal will be Bayden “Bud” Taylor\, a Navy veteran.\n\n\nThe committee has issued the call for parade participants. Any groups interested in marching in the parade should contact Coleen Amero via email to receive registration forms.
