Wilton will hold a Republican Primary on Tuesday, Aug. 12 in all three voting districts from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., as part of the statewide primary election that day.
On the ballot (sample shown below) are candidates running for the Republican gubernatorial, Lt. gubernatorial and comptroller races. There are no contested primary races for any legislative candidates.
Voters who are eligible to vote in the Wilton primary must be registered Republicans. New voter registration deadlines are Thursday, Aug. 7—by mail or online—and Monday, Aug. 11 by 12 noon—in person. Voters who have been unaffiliated with any political party for three months may enroll in the Republican Party by Aug. 7—by mail—or by Aug. 11 by 12 noon in person, if they wish to vote in the primary.

Wilton voters can vote at the following locations, based on your assigned district: (click here for a district map)
- District 1 at Wilton High School Clune Center, 395 Danbury Rd.
- District 2 at Cider Mill School Main Gym, 240 School Rd.
- District 3 at Middlebrook School Cafeteria, 131 School Rd.
Absentee ballots are available from the Town Clerks’ office until 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 11.
