Confident with Lynne
To the Editor:
My husband, Sharif, and I will be voting for Lynne Vanderslice for first selectman on Nov. 3 and we urge you to do the same.
As an unaffiliated voter, I carefully consider each candidate, their experience within Wilton and their professional and personal qualifications. Lynne has it all.
During the 21 years we have owned our home in Wilton, I have worked with and watched Lynne. First when our sons attended a Parks and Rec program together, then when I was president of Wilton Newcomers and she was vice president, and again when she involved a group of us then-young mothers with A Better Chance of Wilton.
A job transfer took us away from Wilton for a number of years, but I was confident with Lynne, a financial professional and a proven leader, on the Board of Finance, our investment in Wilton was in good hands while were away.
We are happy to call Lynne a friend and look forward to the thought of her being Wilton’s First Selectman. Your vote on Nov. 3 will make that happen.
