Wilton Library held its 2nd annual Innovation Day and hosted more than 1,200 people on Saturday, Oct. 22–almost double the attendance of a typical Saturday.
Innovation Day celebrated makers of all kinds, with more than 30 hands-on stations and exhibitors ranging from snap circuits to LED aprons, soldering to home plumbing repairs; decorating a recycle tree to adding to a community quilt. There were ten presentations and workshops where people could learn how to raise chickens, tend gardens, make their own wine and even learn how to taste wine.
The day was made possible by sponsors Bruce Bennett Nissan, Catamount Wealth Management and Ring’s End.
