Jessica Rainey will Bring Expertise, Dedication and Collaboration to P&Z
To the Editor:
I am writing in strong support of Jessica Rainey for the Planning and Zoning Commission. Jessica brings what P&Z has been missing for far too long: fresh perspective, collaborative energy, and the ability to balance regulation with vision.
Wilton has struggled under the weight of poor planning and missed opportunities. For years, P&Z has been dominated by one party, resulting in stalled projects, a lack of affordable housing and limited opportunity for residents to shape our future. The Hubbard St. project was mishandled, forcing a developer into 8-30g when negotiation could have delivered a better result. The Kimco redevelopment was another missed opportunity, leaving affordable housing off the table entirely. These are failures of leadership, not inevitabilities.
Jessica will not let these mistakes continue. As a legal program manager, she works daily with complex contracts, negotiations and regulations, skills directly relevant to P&Z’s responsibilities. She also has a proven record of community engagement: serving on the Democratic Town Committee, co-chairing the Miller-Driscoll Book Fair, coaching youth soccer and leading professional women’s leadership initiatives.
Jessica envisions a Wilton where downtown is revitalized, development is thoughtful and residents have a real voice in shaping what comes next. I urge my neighbors to support Jessica Rainey, she will bring expertise, dedication and collaboration to P&Z.

Michelle Saglimbene Combines Deep Community Roots with Expertise and Fresh Vision for P&Z
To the Editor:
I am proud to support Dr. Michelle Saglimbene for the Planning and Zoning Commission. Michelle is the leader Wilton needs right now, someone who combines deep community roots with the expertise and fresh vision to finally move P&Z forward.
For too long, Planning and Zoning has been stagnant and dominated by one party. The results are clear: a lack of strategy, missed opportunities and little chance for residents to have a real voice. The Hubbard St. project was mishandled, forcing a developer into a poorly managed 8-30g outcome. The Kimco redevelopment was another failure, with no affordable housing included despite ample opportunity. These mistakes weren’t inevitable; they were the result of poor leadership and a closed process.
Michelle will change that. She is committed to transparency and accountability, opening doors for community input, expanding public comment and hosting town halls. She’ll bring a proactive vision to the next Plan of Conservation and Development, ensuring it reflects both Wilton’s character and its future needs.
Michelle grew up in Wilton, graduated from Wilton High School, and is now raising her family here. As an emergency and critical care nurse with a doctorate in executive leadership, she knows how to listen, make tough decisions and lead with empathy and precision.
Join me in voting for Dr. Michelle Saglimbene. She’ll bring vision, accountability and integrity to Planning and Zoning.

Democrat who Supports Matt Raimondi for Board of Finance — He is Devoted to Wilton
To the Editor:
I am writing to support Matt Raimondi for Board of Finance.
Matt cares about all Wiltonians, regardless of party affiliation. His finance background allows him to get into the weeds of the budget, he collaborates with the other boards, and he is the creator of a number of transparency initiatives (coffee chats, surveys and newsletters) to help us stay informed. He is always available when I have a question.
As a Democrat, I would not be able to vote for someone that didn’t share my core values. Matt is a man of integrity. He has demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive Wilton, where the government represents all of its residents. We are a town with a wide range of ages, genders, backgrounds and identities. Matt celebrates Wilton’s diversity.
Given that diversity, we all have our own visions for what in Wilton should change, and what should stay the same. Anyone who has met Matt can testify to his willingness to listen to the goals of every Wiltonian, and to discuss with anyone about which of their goals can be met simultaneously, and which may require tradeoffs. He is devoted to our town. We deserve representation from people like Matt.
