A Better Chance of Wilton Tea & Tour

The community is invited to tour the A Better Chance of Wilton Girls Scholar Residence on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This year marks A Better Chance’s 30th anniversary of creating opportunity here in Wilton. This is the same day as the Wilton Street Fair.

Over the past three decades, more than 58 motivated and driven scholars from underserved and under‑resourced communities have come to Wilton for “A Better Chance” and have graduated from the program. During their four years, scholars live in the residence with a resident director and work closely with an academic coordinator, building a strong foundation for success after graduation.

Their experience extends far beyond academics. Scholars are immersed in the Wilton community through life‑skills development, community service and host‑family weekends. By the time they graduate, these inspiring young women are confident, prepared and ready for the future. Everyone is welcome to come see the place where the magic happens.
