A Gathering of Celtic at the Holidays

Please join Wilton Library for a holiday concert as Jeff Snow returns to the Brubeck Room for “A Gathering of Celtic at the Holidays.” This program is a mix of The Softer Side of Celtic along with familiar and perhaps not so familiar holiday songs and tunes. Many of you have heard Snow play Celtic music on the Autoharp… and the music of the holidays on the ‘harp is magical.

Growing up in a home where the older Scottish folk songs were the everyday sounds, Snow developed a love for Celtic music. Snow’s music has been described as “quiet and relaxing Celtic.” Much of it is but every once in a while he breaks out and the foot stomping begins. Sharing stories, songs and tunes enriched by the histories of Scotland, Ireland and England, his performances educate as well as entertain. You will see clapping, singing, laughing, lots of smiles and perhaps a few tears. Suitable for all ages.
