A Taste of History–Black History Month Event

Wilton Commons will be celebrating Black History Month with an event called “A Taste of History” this Thursday, Feb. 28. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample Southern-inspired cuisine and dishes that were significant during those times and take home recipes to try on their own. In addition to this, the event will consist of keynote speakers engaging our audience in interactive conversations pertaining to black history, current events, and ways to impact change; attendees are encouraged to share their personal viewpoints on all subject matters.

Wilton Commons is a diverse community, and we are striving to embrace diversity by implementing programming that promotes diversity and inclusion. Our goal is to continue to educate our residents, and through developed understanding, we look forward to further unifying and strengthening relationships.
