Achieving Drawdown — A Hopeful, Science-Based Plan to Stop Climate Change (Webinar)

April 29, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

Please join Wilton Go Green for an informative session as Dr. Jonathan Foley, Executive Director of Project Drawdown, shares his expertise on finding solutions to sustain the climate, ecosystems, and natural resources on which we all depend.

Drawdown is the point in the future when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline, thereby stopping catastrophic climate change. It is a critical turning point for life on Earth. To advance climate solutions, it’s important to understand the sources of emissions and nature’s means of re-balancing the climate system.

Foley is a renowned climate scientist, sustainability expert, educator, and public speaker. He is also executive director of Project Drawdown — a world leader on climate solutions. His work focuses on finding solutions to sustain the climate, ecosystems, and natural resources we all depend on.

There is no charge for the webinar, but registration is required (closes on Thursday, April 29 at noon). Registrants will receive an email the day of the event with more details and instructions on how to join the webinar. The event is sponsored by Wilton Library and Wilton Go Green.

Please send any questions via email.
