American Legion Officer Installation — Flag Retirement Ceremony

Sunday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m., American Legion Post 86 officers will be installed in their position by Post 86 member and newly-elected State Sr. Vice Commander Tom Moore.

At 12 p.m., we will hold our annual Flag Retirement ceremony, and all members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in the ceremony. This is a solemn occasion as we properly dispose of American flags that are no longer fit to display.

These events will be held in the backyard of Post 86 (112 Old Ridgefield Rd.) in Wilton Center, next to the Village Market.
